History of Miron violet glass
In 1851 Jakob Lorber (Graz, Austria. 1800-1864) wrote “The healing properties of sunlight” (Die Heilkraft des Sonnenlichtes). In this volume, he points out that violet glass is the ideal storage container for healing remedies and other substances that are sensitive to light. In 1991, after seven long years of research, Miron was able to determine the correct tint to use for their violet glass.
Until 1995, Miron’s small glassworks in Slovenia produced violet glass exclusively for their own needs. These containers were hand-made and rather expensive, Miron’s own growth and the growing external demand for violet glass motivated Miron to seek other glass manufacturers to produce their violet glass more affordably.
Since then, MIRON violet glass has been operated by MIRON Violetglass BV, and their products are available all over the world. It is used in the distribution of a wide range of high-grade products such as essential oils, flower essences, natural cosmetics, royal jelly, flax oils and massage oils. Recently, discerning skincare and olive oil companies have turned to MIRON violet glass to guarantee the quality of their premium product lines.
Now, Miron violet glass is available directly to consumers through Miron Online. Experience the results of Miron’s years of research for yourself.
